Strohmeyer Donates Pullen Elementary Mosaic to City of Rockwall
This mosaic of the City of Rockwall Logo was created by the art students of Amy
Efeney at Dorothy Smith Pullen Elementary School. It was one of 14 pieces
auctioned at the RISD Education Foundation, Inc.'s annual Celebration in
February, where half of the funds were donated to the schools and the other half
will be used to fund grants given by the Foundation to RISD teachers who strive
to "reach beyond" in their classrooms. Jimmy Strohmeyer of SHW Group was the
lucky winner of this masterpiece. He has generously donated it to Mayor Bill
Cecil and the City of Rockwall.
