Innovative Teaching Grant Winners Treated to an Evening
on the Lake on the “Seawolf”
Rockwall ISD Education Foundation, Inc. Board of Director Scott Self invited the
Innovative Teaching Grant recipients from Spring 2008 and all 2007 to an evening
on Lake Ray Hubbard. They sailed on the “Seawolf”, a 40-foot catamaran built by
Mr. Self. The evening was enjoyed by 36 Rockwall ISD teachers who had received a
grant which provided innovative and creative learning opportunities in the
classrooms.
