Leadership Rockwall Class of 2009 joins the RISD Education Foundation, Inc.
Prize Patrol
The Leadership Rockwall Class of 2009 joined the RISD Education Foundation,
Inc.’s Spring 2009 Prize Patrol. The group rode by school bus to three campuses
and surprised the Innovative Teaching Grant recipients with balloons, oversized
checks, and logo embellished canvass bags. This group, along with Foundation
Directors, community participants, and RISD personnel distributed grants at
Howard Dobbs Elementary School, Grace Hartman Elementary School, and J.W.
Williams Middle School. The Innovative Teaching Grants are awarded to teachers
or groups of teachers who present ideas that are creative and new to the
classroom. A group grant may be a much as $5,000, depending on the presented
project.
