AMICA organization teams with Education Foundation and RISD Art Teachers
for fund raising opportunity. Vote for your favorite buckle through November 15
at Culpepper Steak House and Willis Fine Jewelry!
The AMICA organization (a non-profit Rockwall women’s philanthropic group)
recently presented the Education Foundation with a unique fund raising vehicle.
RISD Art Teachers were offered an opportunity to adorn a silver AMICA belt
buckle and submit for judging by public vote at Willis Fine Jewelry and
Culpepper Steak House. Winning buckles will be offered in live auction and
others sold in the silent auction at the AMICA Denim & Diamonds Gala on
Saturday, November 21. Proceeds of the belt buckles will be evenly distributed
to the respective art departments and to the Education Foundation to be used for
Innovative Teaching Grants.
